He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Yakonich and Helen Yakonich; and his brother-in-law Paul Julien. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Michael (Angela Yakonich) and Jennifer (Matt Hickson); his grandchildren, Chase, Emmerson and Rhyan Yakonich; his siblings, Mary Cvitkovic (George) and Tom Yakonich (Lynda); his siblings-in-law, Ruth and Will Gagnier; his nieces and nephews, Nancy, Bobby, David, Lana, Brian, Michelle and Renee; and his close friends, Garry and Val Derbowka.
