With solemn reverence, we commemorate Germaine (Marentette) Chappus (Windsor, Ontario), whose life came to an end on November 29, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marentette and Edna; her great-grandparent Mamere; and her siblings, Eleanore Stinchcombe (Bob), Jack Marentette (Ria) and Tom Marentette (Sue).

She is survived by: her husband Richard Chappus; her children, Michelle Smith (Robert), Rick Chappus (Michelle), Gisele Rousseau (Chris), Dan Chappus (Leslee) and Roger Chappus (Sandra); and her grandchildren, Scott Sharron (Sandy), Danielle Sharron (Jeff Cartwright), Steve Sharron, Jesse Chappus (Marni Wasserman), Mike Chappus (Jasmine), Alison Pearce (Gerald Grison), Andrea Pearce (Tom Cvetkovic), Matthew Pearce (Lindsay), Daniel Chappus Jr. (Gurpreet), Elizabeth Chappus, Rebecca Chappus (Chris Butcher) and Brandon Chappus. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe St, Windsor, ON N8S3V3).
