He is survived by: his wife Francesca; his sons, Sam (Josie) and Peter (Christina); his grandchildren, Alessia (Andrew), Sabrina (Gregory), Giacomo (Anna Maria) and Amanda (Peter); his brothers, Baldassare (Renata) and Giuseppe (Enza); and his siblings-in-law, Vincenzo (Rosa), Vincenza, Giuseppe, Francesco (Rosa), Pasquale (Enza), Angela and Tommaso (Lisa). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to honour Giacomo may be made to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
