He was predeceased by: his sibling Felice Messina. He is survived by: his spouse Girolama "Mimma" Messina; his children, Gaspare (late Mariella), Vincenzo (Connie) and Maria Rubino (Gaspare); his grandchildren, Cassandra (Marco), Gabriella (Ryan), Nick, Jake, Gene (Jessica), Rocco (Angie), Ellyana, Bis-Nonno of Kassem, Amelia, Gemma and Giana; and his sister Maria D'Angelo (Antonio). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 8:00 PM to 8:15 PM at the Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A procession will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:20 AM at the Leaving Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Ave, Windsor, ON N9H1C9).
