He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles McMahon and Florence Ahern; and his stepsiblings, Patricia Horkavi (late Francis) and John Ahern (Jackie). He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Allison and Jonathan; and his sister Ruth Sokolik (late Ron).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Families First (3260 Dougall Ave, WINDSOR, ON N9E 1S6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mick's memory may be made to Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare Foundation in support of Palliative Care, Transition to Betterness, or the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.
