Gina Costenaro Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Gina Costenaro (Windsor, Ontario). Gina, born on November 22, 1934, passed away on August 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlo Casoni and Margherita Casoni; and her siblings, Maria Iacono, Mario Casoni and Elvira Casoni.

She is survived by: her husband Mariano; her daughter Assunta; her son-in-law Vic DiPietro; her grandsons, Mark (Caitlin Fenty) and Michael (Gracie DiPietro); her son Dino Costenaro; her son-in-law Mark Fenty; and her sisters-in-law, Maria Casoni and Rosalia Costenaro. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4K1). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1X9). An entombment was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Heavenly Rest Mausoleum (5005 Howard Ave., LaSalle, ON N9H1C9).
