He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Benforte and Giuseppa Binaggia. He is survived by: his spouse Elisabetta; his children, Giuseppina Basile (Salvatore), Lina Nicoletti (Ivan), Margherita Chiarcos (Greg), Mimma Wojcik (Chris) and Giuseppe Benforte (Jill); his grandchildren, Selena, John, Noah, Joshua, Daniel, Sara, Erica, Adam, Matthew, Priya, Curtis and Milaina; and his siblings, Margherita Palermo (late Antonino), Pietro Benforte (late Giovanna) and Vito Benforte (Anna). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
