She was predeceased by: her daughter Channon; her siblings, Wilfred Scott, Ethel Vaughn, Harriet Farnel, Delia Scott and Gloria Chase; and her parents, Delia Thompson and Daniel Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Carey (Joanne), Chance (Sheri) and Grace Anne Chase; her grandchildren, Chance Jr., Brittany, Deon, Tasia, Cornell and Kai; and her siblings, George "Kirk" Scott, Donna Edwards, Linda Holmes, Lillian Holmes, John Thompson, Diane Thompson, Susan Hurst and Stephen Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cremation Has Taken Place and Memorial (1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S3M8). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
