He was predeceased by: his spouse Elisabetta; his grandchild Christian; his parents, Vittorio Pessotto and Luigina Pessotto; his sibling Ilda Bedana (late Gigi); and his sister-in-law Augusta Camozzi (late Otto).

He is survived by: his children, Ivan Pessotto (Piera), Tina Armellin (Gianfranco) and Nori Vollmer (Steve); his grandchildren, Ivan Jr. Pessotto (Alynn), Elizabeth Sperduti (Marco), Matthew, Michael Armellin, Rachel Smith (Rhys) and Lauren Fonteyne (Lars); and his siblings, Clelia Padoin (late Giovanni), Bruno Basso (late Guiseppe) and Mirella Perencin (Paolo).
