He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Viola; his parents, Harold Kersey and Bernice Kersey; and his siblings, Dorothy, Naomi (Carl), Sylvia Maxine, Carl (Katherine), Clarence (Caroline), Shirley (David), Wanda, Ronny, Vivian and Errol (Bernita).

He is survived by: his children, Carl (Trish), Hal (Janice), Clarence, William and Lisa; and his siblings, Marilyn (Babe Ruth), Tommy (Penny), Beverly (William), Gayle, Diane (Ron) and Joan. He is also survived by many brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
