He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Pfahler and Bertrand Fowler; and his in-laws, Clarence and Lena Rousseau. He is survived by: his wife Gwen (Rousseau); his children, Barry (Karen), Beth Closs (Al) and Chris (Anna); his grandchildren, Andrea (Mike), Samantha (James), Lindsay (Geoff), Tim (Sarah), Harrison (Samantha), Aurora, Oliver, Alyssa, Lucas, Austin and Cameron; his siblings, Margaret Butler and Robert (Carrol); and his sister-in-law Sherryl Simmons.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harry may be made to the Easter Seals Society or the Downtown Mission.
