He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gail; his children, Ric, Randy, Debbie, Don (Debbie), Linda and Susan (Glenn); his daughter-in-law Diane; his nieces and nephews, Gary and Kathy; and his siblings, Orval (late Marguerite), Raymond (late Marjorie), Rita (late Donald), Loretta, Donald (late Pauline), Clifford (late Lisa), Oscar (late Patricia), Yvonne (late Peter), Russell (late Florence), Leo (late Jane), Gerald (late Alice) and Stanley (Lucy). He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
