Heinrich Plackmann Obituary

Passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022 at the age of 95 years. Beloved husband of the late Luise (2021) for 71 loving years. Cherished Father of Werner (Susan), Reinhold (Lora Lee), Robert (Nadia) and Mariann Mollard (Rob). Dear Opa to Dustin, Rachel (Kevin), Mori (Geoff), Taren and Dane, Anita and Eric, Thomas (Candyce) and Melissa (Mark). Great-Opa to Payten, Maddox, Bryar, Riley, Cora, Ellie, Franklin, Olivia, Bryson and Lelah. Predeceased by his sister Elizabeth (1946). Also predeceased by his son-in-law Steve Mollard (2017). Also survived by extended family and friends. Heinrich was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to Bach and Beethoven and beautiful classical music. We will always remember his Christmas spirit and the happiness he exuded during the season. Dad was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a long time parishioner at St. Anne's Parish. The family would like to thank all of the staff at WRH-Met Campus for their compassionate care and support. Family and friends are invited to gather for the visitation at Marcotte Funeral Home (12105 Tecumseh Rd. E., Tecumseh, 519-735-2830) on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A complete. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Cremation to follow. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
