He was predeceased by: his wife Nora; his daughter Gail; his parents, Herbert Newton and Mary Newton; and his siblings, Arthur Daley, George Newton and Gladys Morgan.

He is survived by: his children, Gary, Elaine, Connie Rice, John Grubisich, Ron, Ethel, Darlene, Larry Price, Craig, Wanda, Allan and Anna; and his siblings-in-law, Angelo Clarot, Louise Lenarduzzi and Alba Couch. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
