It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Gecelovsky (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emil; her parents, Steve Smidu and Ethel Smidu; and her sisters, Julia Szekely (Bert), Helen Hrbak (Andy) and Mary Gero (Joe).
She is survived by: her children, David Emil Gecelovsky (Lynda) and Deborah Ann Owens (Edward); her grandchildren, Matthew Owens (Deyzi), Nicole Birkby (Scott) and Daralyn Quenneville (Neil); her great grandchildren, Violet, Sawyer, Eddie, Sofia, Benny and Alice; and her pet Molly.
