She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney; her granddaughter Melinda; and her brothers, William Wallace (Betty) and Jack. She is survived by: her children, Heather Hope (Bill) and Scott Thomson (Carole); her grandchildren, Janet, Bryan (Krissy), Adam (Jenny) and Curtis; her brother Vernon Wallace (Irene); and her sister-in-law Georgette Wallace. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Irene may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Hospice of Windsor.
