He was predeceased by: his mother Eva Kireta; and his siblings, Jana, Eva and Franjo. He is survived by: his father Josip Kireta; his wife Slavka Kireta; his sons, Zlatko Kireta (Joanne) and Josip Kireta; and his grandchildren, Caitlyn (Brock), Zachary (Kaitlyn), Oliva (Ash) and Calvin Kireta (Mia).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Francis of Assisi building fund in his memory.
