He was predeceased by: his parents, Mate Pocrnic and Manda Pocrnic. He is survived by: his wife Marija "Mary" Pocrnic; his siblings, Ana Simac (Ivan) of Klanac, Gospic and Croatia; and his cousin Croatia. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.

As an expression of sympathy and to honour Ivica's life, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Alzheimer Society of Windsor-Essex County or the Windsor-Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation.
