She was predeceased by: her parents, George Benest and Janet Benest (Smith). She is survived by: her siblings, Lillias (Betty), Georgina, Anne and Ian; her children, Debra and Dennis (Kim Segal); her grandchildren, Gerry (Amanda), Jacob, Alma and Kye; and her great grandchildren, Camryn and Ainsley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (895 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4J5). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
