It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janko Gombar in Windsor, Ontario, who passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Julie; and his parents, Janko Gombar and Julia Gombar. He is survived by: his wife Anna Gombar; his daughter Alexandra "Sandy" (Zarko); his grandchildren, Michael and Page; and his nephew Jerry (Mila).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (1701 Turner Rd, Windsor, ON N8W3J9).
