He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; and his son Joseph. He is survived by: his children, Paul (Lori), Jimmy (Penny), Kathleen (Louie Dropka) and Yvette Day; his brother Roger (Voline); his sister-in-law Susie Hansen; and his friend Snowmobiling.
