She was predeceased by: her child Bill Shiells (Denise). She is survived by: her husband Bill; her children, Heather Shiells-Dowhaniuk (late Sean) and Katherine Gardner (Dennis); her grandchildren, Cassandra, Rachel, Jillian, Randi, Olivia, Ryan, Renée and Raine; and also Olivia. She is also survived by her extended family and dear friends.
If you so desire, donations in honour of Mamie's granddaughter Olivia can be made to The Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation or Aplastic Anemia and Myelodysplasia Association of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
