He was predeceased by : his wife Judy; his grandson Jason; his great grandchild Brandon; his parents, Antonio Marier and Rosa Marier; and his siblings, Marge Ellwood (Oliver), Paul (Audrey), Jackie Papineau (Leo), Marcel (Lou), Maurice (Madeleine), Jeannette Homick (Casey) and Jeannine (René).
He is survived by : his children, Jerry (TJ), Marc (Terri), Denis (Linda Sabatini) and Carrie Dufour (Tom); his great grandchildren, Pearl, Smith, Ellie, Isla, Calen, Rocco, Romeo, Josh, Tyler, Nicolas, Emma, Evan, Emmett, Josephine, Ella, Lily and Isaak; his close friend Larry Ducharme (Wendy); and his pet Buddy Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
