Joanne Hewitt Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne Hewitt (Windsor, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 21, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nelson and Elsie Nelson; and her siblings, Jack Nelson, Catherine McKinley, Patricia Dawson, Nancy Nelson and Edward Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, Dawn Marie, Brian (Anne Marie) and James (Nanda); her grandchildren, Melanie, Chadd, Michael, Matthew, Stephanie, Eviana, Harper, Jake, Lilliana, Lucas, Meera, Connor and Autumn; and her siblings, Judy and John VanBeers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in Memory of Joanne to the Alzheimer's Society or Huron Lodge would be appreciated by the family.
