She was predeceased by: her son Ethan Carter Shepherd. She is survived by: her boyfriend William "Bill" Harshaw; her parents, Su Tan and Hiep Nguyen; and her siblings, Trina Nguyen (Tom), Kimberly Nguyen (Daniel), Le-Thanh Nguyen-Petrov (Kris) and Danny Nguyen (Mong). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and co-workers.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8N1L8).
