With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Jakoplic (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on April 5, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduard Jakoplic and Stefica Jakoplic; and his siblings, Rose Marlovits (Hermann) and Fanika Balenovic (Joso). He is survived by: his sibling Ivica Jakoplic (Lilijan); his nieces and nephews, Mike Marlovits (Christine), Edward Marlovits (Marina), Jason Marlovits (Megan), Jeff Jakoplic, Chris Jakoplic (Nancy), Anna and Steph Balenovic; his sibling Kim "Burley" McMaster (Lee-Ann); his aunt Tecika; and his cousin Kumovi.

As an expression of sympathy and to honour Joe, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church Building Fund or the Croatian National Sports Club, Windsor.
