He was predeceased by: his siblings, Michael, Kathe and Anna; and his parents, Anton and Katharina.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite; his daughters, Christine McKenzie (Brian), Mary Anne and Monica; his grandchildren, Kyra, Tom and Jamie; his brother Anton (Ottilie); and his friend Charlie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
