He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramiro and Mariana Josefa. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Do Canto; his children, Anna Canto and George Canto; and his siblings, Ramiro Canto (Ana), George Canto (Aurora), Fernando Canto (Leonilde), Manuel Canto (Linda), Marylou Wyndham (Todd), Mariazinha Markes (Victor) and Ana El-Hello (Saady).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4K1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
