“I met John many years ago through business. He was an intelligent man and we shared many espressos in cafes discussing ideas. John loved sports, particularly hockey and the New York Rangers. He was sure to have his vintage Ranger jersey on when we saw Toronto games. He will be missed by myself and those he got to know in our business ventures. I am truly saddened by his passing.
