He was predeceased by: his significant other Patricia Hankinson; his grandson Daniel; his siblings, Evelyn Slobasky (Harry), Annie Horvat (John), Kay Coulson (Bob), Joe (Caroline), Nellie Siddall (Bob) and Mary Champ (Gary); and his parents, Dragica Duralia (Bradica) and Franjo Duralia.

He is survived by: his children, John Jr. (late Ann McKnight Duralia), Patti Devries (Dan Sobczak) and Tom (Rene McKnight); his grandchildren, Julie, Lisa, Tom, Natalie, Mitchell, Aiden, Erin and Jenna; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Nathan, Tommy Jr., Sophie and Audrey. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends.
