With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Hopkins (Windsor, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on February 20, 2026 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Justin St. Louis; his siblings, Ted (late Barb), Ken (Diane) and Anne Bisson (Tom Burwell); his parents, Albert Hopkins and Violet Hopkins; and his father-in-law Julian Wigcherink.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Shawn (Christina), Betty-Lou St. Louis and Ryan Griffore; his grandchildren, Koen, Charlotte, Abigail, Devin, Eleanor and Ginevieve; his brothers-in-law, Mike Wigcherink and Ray Wigcherink (Mary); and his pet Barney. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 261 (12326 Lanoue St., Windsor, ON N8N1N3).
