He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Burd and Julia Burd; and his siblings, Albert Burd and Shirley Gow. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Caron; his children, John "Jay" Burd and Cindy Bell; his grandchildren, Alissa Burd and Kylie Burd; his siblings, Betty Murray and Wayne Burd; his sisters-in-law, Pauline Glassford and Lynn Burd; and his pet Pennar. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
