He was predeceased by: his parents, Mihaly and Rozsalia; his siblings, Rozsalia (Janos), Mihaly (Erzsebet) and Tomas (Ilona); and his brother-in-law Richard Novak.

He is survived by: his spouse Erzsebet "Elizabeth"; his grandson Vincent Jozsef Pavlica; his children, Erzsebet Nikolics and Andrea Nikolics (Gyorgy Balogh); his granddaughter Gerda Balogh; his siblings, Marika (Gruber) and Ava (Pauli); his siblings-in-law, Edward Novak (Jadranka), Kimberley Novak, Shelley Novak and Gabor Torok; and his close friends, Bob Nixon, Frank Molnar and Elizabeth Soros. He is also survived by his extended family.
