He was predeceased by: his wife May Gauthier; his children, Aline Wright (Jim), Joseph and Suzanne; his grandchildren, Kristel, Dawn, Nicole, Jay, Caitlynn, Mandi, Meaghan, Jessica, Jordan and Mikayla; his great grandchildren, Evan, Avery, Aria, Alivia, Ashley, Hailey, Shelbey, Hunter, Nigel, Kahlen, Kamryn, Dakota, Haiden, Holden, Hadleigh, Everleigh and Jaxon; his great great grandchildren, Aubrey and Emberleigh; and his sibling Jackie.

He is survived by: his siblings, Genevieve, Annette, George and Rosie. He is also survived by many extended family members, nieces and nephews.
