He was predeceased by: his wife Winnifred Ward; his son Joe Ward Jr.; his parents, Joseph Ward and Lois Ward; his siblings, Margaret, Elise, Miriam, Ruth, David and Harriet; and his siblings-in-law, Gerry, Louise Pitre, Reg Pitre, Joyce, Vince Cauchon and Marilyn O'Flynn (Tom Kipp).
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Ward (Lloyd Campbell), Randy Ward (Denise Finnie), Jo-Lynn Ward-O'Brien (Michael O'Brien), Becky Ward (Maurice Feldman), Julie Ward and Lois Ward (Greg Maichele); his sister-in-law Claire Pitre (Reg); Bill Nichols. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
