He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen; his parents, Joseph Zakoor and Sarah Zakoor; and his siblings, Ursula (George), Eddie (Gwen), Gord (Winnie), Louise, Mary Jane "Pinky" (Phil), Larry (Kay) and Phil (Dolores).
He is survived by: his children, Greg, Jeff (Linda) and Jo-Ellen (Brian Ellis); his grandchildren, Lauren (Scott Sprung), Jennifer (Chris Petit), Lesley-Ann (Gus Mumby), Greg (Luisiana De), Alli, Matt (Sara Marino), Sarah and Chris; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Leonardo and Baby Sprung. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
