Karen Mary Macintyre Obituary
We announce the death of Karen Mary Macintyre (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 84. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Karen will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Karen will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Karen’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Adrian Joseph Kenny and Mary Elizabeth Kenny (née Morse); sons: Michael and John (Jessica); grandchildren: William, Henry, Charles, and Samuel; sisters: Jayne Nicki and Jerrie Kenny; nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Andrea, Alexander, and Geoffrey (Umi); brother-in-law: Richard Nicki; and many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours, and a palliative care team.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Families First (1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S 3M8). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd, Windsor, ON N8Y4A6).
