It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Atkinson (Windsor, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. A. L. Thompson and Gladys Thompson (Tuck); and her brother Allan (late Shirley). She is survived by : her husband Ron Atkinson; her grandchildren, Brad (Nadine), Erika (Ashley), Chris (Pierrette) and Stefani; and her great grandchildren, Zoey, Ambrosia, Felix and Jett.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4K1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Victoria Memorial Gardens (1185 ON-3, Oldcastle, ON N0R1L0).
