He was predeceased by: his sisters, Marika Andreou (Sergios), Koula Diamanditis (Giouras) and Nikoleta Tsoumas (Christos); and his siblings-in-law, Kosta Margaritis (Eleni), Mike Margaritis (Chrisoula), George Margaritis (late Becky) and Marianna Varverakis (late John).
He is survived by: his spouse Ekaterini (Kathy); his children, Chris Stavridis (Susan), Sofia Stavridis (Pramod Puligandla) and John Stavridis (Sandy); and his sibling Fani Papastavrou (late Nikos). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S4). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM. A burial was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Windsor Memorial Gardens (1100 Division Rd, Windsor, ON N8W1Z6).
