It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence LaBute (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Michelle; his parents, Ulric and Marie; his siblings, Kay Peterson, Paul, Pauline Steinhoff (Gerald), Richard and Edward (Gail); and his sibling-in-law Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, David (Gina), Jeffrey (Carolin) and Stephen; his grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Renée, Nolan and Aubrey; his sister Mary Ann Lee (late Norman); his brothers-in-law, Neil (Wendy), Ken (RoseAnne) and Tim (Jeanie); and his friends, Judy, Catherine and Gary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave, WINDSOR, ON N9E 1S6). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Transition to Betterness. Donation cards will be available at the funeral home.
