It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Mary Monforton (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Bernard; and her sister Marion Howatson. She is survived by : her children, Carol (Terri Burney), Maureen (Don Gordon) and Doug Monforton; and her grandchildren, Carey (Cassie), Ryan (Mary), Craig Burney (Jackie), Christie Downes (John), Jeff Gordon (Hannah), Heather Soltis (Alan), Scott Monforton (Angela) and Matthew Monforton (Michelle). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 17th 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 18th 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral mass was held on Friday, November 18th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd E, Windsor, ON N8W).

Donations to the RCL Branch 594 Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.
