We are sad to announce that, on October 18, 2020, Leonardo Santamaria (Windsor, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice. He is survived by: his children, Luci (Richard), Lori (Alec) and Bart (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, James, Lucas, Ty, Colin, Bella and Olivia.

Please note due to COVID 19 regulations attendance for cemetery services may be limited, entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery to follow.

If you so desire, donations to Cardiac Wellness – HDGH or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

“Leo owned the barbershop in my neighborhood and when I delivered the newspaper to him, he was always so kind, with such a beautiful smile. My father appreciated Leo as the excellent personable barber he was. As a friend of his son Bart I had the privilege of seeing Leo at his home, such a loving caring Father and wonderful warm sweet man. He would bring home panzarotti to share and spend time really asking a person how they were doing. My thoughts and prayers are with Bart and his family.”

“Dear Santamaria family, My thoughts are with you as grieve your Father Leo. He was the sweetest man. I used to deliver my newspaper to his barber shop and I always knew seeing him would brighten my day. Such a warm smile and kind eyes. When I would hang at with Bart at the house I remembered Leo as a great husband and family man. Definitely involved in his family’s well being. He would bring home panzarotti to share-so fun. He was a person who really asked a person how they were doing.”
