She was predeceased by: her husband Saverio; her parents, Giusseppe Cantagallo and Yolanda Cantagallo; her in-laws, Luigi and Angela Mele; her brother Dominic Cantagallo (Carol); and her siblings-in-law, Maria Bonasso (Salvatore), Isabella Sciarrotta (Frank), Giovanni Mele (Catarina), Guiseppe Mele and Albina Pignanelli.
She is survived by: her children, Louie Mele (Deborah), Joseph (late Roseanne), Angela Stephens (Pat), Nancy Pizzo (Tony) and Ida Larocque (Paul); her grandchildren, Christy (Patrick), Jeremy (Maureen), Martina (Mike), Jessica (Joe), Jeff (Maria), Chris (Reem), Vanessa (Alex), Dana, Jillian (Michele), Samantha, Lauren, Gabriel, Sarah (Cody), Matthew, Giovanni, Leonardo, Maximo, Marcello, Marco, Mattias, Anthony, Milana, Alessio and Talia; and her siblings-in-law, Rosa Mele and Antonio Pignanelli. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Email Notes Parish (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A 1X9).
