It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda (Gouin) Arcand (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Ted Sr.; her son Ted Jr. (Emily); her grandchildren, Mark LeBlanc (Kristen), Jackson and Amber Leigh (Joe); her great grandchildren, Oliver, Qwinson and Morgan; her brothers, Bob Gouin (Pat) and Bill Gouin (Carrie); and her sibling-in-law Jerry Arcand (Pauline).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

“"Send her flowers", "Pay her homage". What ? She's not here, physically, anymore. So, the dumbest thing when it comes to sending flowers occurs at funeral homes on a daily basis. And, we all know funeral arrangements are sky-high, thru the roof. When the new hospital is built, IF....if you recall a few years ago, CTV News Windsor ran a story about a man, Denis Solet, who had terminal cancer. His wish - to have a going away party while he could still see everyone, smell all of the flowers, and say thanks ! And do you know how many attended ? How's 500 people sound !! More than a wedding. But wait, one more thing : not a penny came out of the organizers or Mr.Solet's pockets. Donations covered the entire thing. So, to these places like Family's First, etc...stop charging so much, we've all been thru enuff today. Peace.Now THAT's a send-off folks ! Even though he lost the battle, he did it his way !! :-)”
