Lino P. Catroppa Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lino P. Catroppa (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on April 30, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenia Catroppa and Nino Catroppa; and his siblings, Mario, Vincenzo, Carmelina, Mafalda, Luigi and Alfio Catroppa.
He is survived by: his close friend Margaret; his grandchildren, Lina and Hanna; Eugenia, Emily (Ritchie) and Olivia.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Windsor Chapel South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E1S4). A prayer was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 8:30 PM to 8:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1X9). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 5th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the windsor Chapel Funeral Home (3048 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E 1S4).
As an expression of sympathy and to honour Lino, memorial tributes may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation (https://www.heartandstroke.ca) or the Windsor-Essex Humane Society.
