We announce the death of Lionel Adelard Demers (Windsor, Ontario), who passed away on October 3, 2026, at the age of 102. Lionel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vital Demers and Gracianna Demers (LaBrecque); and his son Duane (Jo). He is survived by: his sisters, Jeanne and Rita; his daughter Christine (David); his grandchildren, Matthew, Michelle, Robert, Nicole, Kaitlin and Greg; his daughter Karen (Mike); his grandchildren, Jessica, Luke, Sam, Monica and Laura; his son Barry (Dana); his granddaughter Holly; his son Timothy (Susan); his grandchildren, Sarah, Thomas, Jamie and Kelly; his son Brian (Mian); his grandchildren, Ocean, Quentin, Morgan and Jade; his sister Emily; and his daughter Janet (Don).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Families First (1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S3M8). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Junior Achievement Canada.
