She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Patrick Boyde; and her parents, Ovila Lajeunesse and Florence Lajeunesse. She is survived by: her sister Suzanne Cayea (Bob); her niece Renée Louise McKinley (David); her nephew Gregory Cayea (Jennifer); her great-nephews, Adam, Benjamin and Maxwell Cayea; and her great-niece Katherine Louise McKinley.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex and Hospice of Windsor & Essex County.
