She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Van Niekerk (Joseph); her grandson Steven Kotyk (Rachel); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Steven (J. R.) and Sophie; her son Jeffery Van Niekerk (Angela); her grandchildren, Alexandria and Kaleigh; her daughter Karen Basque; her grandchildren, Mikayla, Alyssa and Jocelyn; her daughter Kristy Walker; her grandchildren, Kierra, Emma and Nathan; her son Robert E. Hunter; her granddaughter Brynlynn Gray (Derek); her great grandchildren, Lincoln and Roland; her granddaughters, Crystin, Chantelle Hunter and Cassandra Speechley (Mitch); her great grandchild Elena; her son Alan Hunter; her daughter-in-law Donna Hunter; her great grandchildren, Victoria and Holly; and her sisters, Gladys Taylor and Theresa Tower. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cremation Has Taken Place and Memorial (1065 Lauzon Rd, Windsor, ON N8S3M8). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Rd, Windsor, ON N8Y4A6).
