As we bid adieu to Marcia's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Marcia has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Fields (Platten) and Francis Fields; her grandparents, Henry and Daisy Fields; and her brother David Brook Fields.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. John Doherty; her sons, John (Nicole) and James Doherty; her grandchildren, Madelyn and Jordyn Doherty; and her sister Kathie DeFazio. She is also survived by nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, ON N8W1C7). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
