She was predeceased by: her husband Guido Di Giacomo; her parents, Filippo Ferrante and Concetta Ferrante; her daughter Giovina Facchinato "Nella" (late Dario); and her siblings, Antonio, Giuseppe and Biagio.

She is survived by: her son Steve (Joan Janisse); her grandchildren, Dino (Bianca), Nensi, Christina (Riley), Tania (Dalmas) and Matthew; and her daughter-in-law Joan. She is also survived by her cousins, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Janisse Funeral Home (1139 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A4K1). A prayer was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 3:45 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Angela Merici Church (980 Louis Ave, Windsor, ON N9A1X9).
